Construction Experience

Allan Lowe started working on construction projects at the age of 17 years old. He progressed “through the ranks” through a combination of related education and constructed experience.

Following are examples of Allan Lowe’s construction related experience:


•	Labourer, welder’s helper and hoe oiler on high pressure gas pipeline projects
•	Labourer and carpenter’s helper on residential home construction and industrial plant construction
•	Project supervisor on rural and municipal gas line installations, including both high and low pressure lines
•	Project supervisor and management on civil municipal construction projects including underground construction, sidewalks and curb and gutter, roads, utilities, lagoons, etc.
•	Project layout and construction supervision for bobsled and luge runs and ski jump venues for 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary Alberta
•	Management responsibilities for builders’ completion of over 100 new homes, with staff and contractor contingent of over 100 workers. Responsible for warranty on over 1,000 new homes
•	Responsible for certifying over 2000 Inspectors in Alberta in the building, plumbing, gas, electrical, fire, boilers, elevators, and amusement rides disciplines
•	Small construction business owner
